Sue Schaffner is an NYC-based photographer and part of the public art-duo, DYKE ACTION MACHINE! (DAM!), founded by herself and Carrie Moyer. Sue is one of the first Creative Capital Awardees. Some notable exhibitions include: Mixing Messages, at the Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum and Straight to Hell: 10 Years of Dyke Action Machine!, a retrospective originating at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, San Francisco and traveling throughout the country.
